$1 Million Bond Set For Michigan Father Accused Of Abusing 2-Month-Old [Photo]

32-year-old Rodger Nesto of Fife Lake, MI was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first degree child abuse after Kalkaska County police found a two-month-old baby that had bruising and possible head injuries.

Deputies reported to the scene after receiving a call about a child abuse incident in Garfield Township.

The two-month-old was treated at Muson Medical Center and deputies state that the child had past injuries due to abuse.

Nesto was also charged with a fourth offense habitual offender which carries a mandatory 25-year sentence.

Nesto will appear in court on May 2nd for a probable cause hearing and again on May 9th for a preliminary hearing. Bond has been set at $1,000,000.
