Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour is coming to an end and with only four games left in the Los Angeles Lakers’ season, The Black Mamba tributes will be pouring in throughout the days to come. As No. 24 approaches the last games of his 20-year career, XXL looks back at the 11 Nike signature sneakers released under Kobe’s name.

Entering the league in 1996, Kobe was selected as the 13th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets and was later traded to the Lakers that same day. Since then, he's had a hell of a run as professional basketball player with five NBA championships under his belt, one Most Valuable Player award, two NBA Finals MVP awards and 18 NBA All-Star selections. Along with the incredible accolades on the court, Kobe gained the respect and love of basketball fans with his charm and relentless ways.

Since the start of his career, Kobe's success would not only translate on the hardwood, but also in the footwear department like so many NBA greats. Before starting the 1996–97 NBA season, The Black Mamba signed a six-year deal with adidas, which saw the release of several Kobe Three Stripes silhouettes. In 2003, a 24-year-old Kobe decided to leave the German sportswear brand and sign with Nike. While his sneaker line with the Swoosh took time to gain attraction from sneakerheads, the Nike Kobe signature sneaker line eventually took off and became the coveted basketball shoe line that it is now.

With the success of Nike's Kobe signature line throughout the years, XXL goes down memory lane and recollects the 11 signature shoes The Black Mamba has dropped with the Swoosh thus far.
