2 Year Old Girl Suspended From Daycare for Having a Cheese Sandwich

A 2 year old girl was suspended from her daycare center for having a cheese sandwich. As you would imagine, someone is overreacting.

On Wednesday in Ontario, Canada, Faith Murray was suspended for three days from her daycare center for violating their strict food policy.

Randy Murray, Faith's father, did not know his daughter had hid a cheese sandwich in her pocket.  Once she stepped into the daycare center, a staff member noticed the sandwich and notified Randy.  Well it was too late.

"Faith must have snuck a cheese sandwich into her pocket, into her hand, and nobody saw it, and went into the classroom," Murray said. "And by the time she was two steps in, one of the teachers had saw it, handed it back to me, and the next thing I know, we're told we're suspended for three days."

The daycare center has suspended Faith to protect staff and other children from food allergies.  What are your thoughts?
