Killa, Flea, Rico, no matter what you call Harlem rapper Cam'ron, he's been getting busy in hip-hop for over two decades. Dependent on your age, you may remember him spitting alongside Ma$e, the late Big L, McGruff and his deceased cousin Bloodshed who were collectively known as Children of the Corn. At one time part of the Notorious B.I.G.-associated Untertainment Records (also home to Lil' Kim), Cam released two albums -- Confessions of Fire and S.D.E. -- before finally signing with Roc-A-Fella Records and entering a whole new stratosphere with his highest-selling albums, Come Home With Me and Purple Haze.

What makes Cam so successful, though, is his entrepreneurial mind. In the climax of the physical mixtape/CD and DVD era, his Dipset crew rose to infamy, transcending music with films, clothing and a bevy of tertiary products, he built an empire. Even outside of the game, it's widely known that he's owned a restaurant and a host of other strategic investments that have kept him eating crazy—even during a seemingly quiet period.

Those, however, are just the things that have helped make Cam'ron rich—it's his charisma that has ultimately made him one of the most meme'd and quoted rappers in popular culture. From his infamous "Niggas get shot every day, b" line in the cult classic film Paid in Full, telling Bill O'Reilly "You mad," explaining to Anderson Cooper why he would never snitch or straight up making the term "no homo" blow up, Cam has stayed beyond buzzing.

Even after getting shot in Washington, D.C. and driving himself to the hospital like a G, or going though fallouts with artists like Jay Z, his protege Vado and even his childhood friend--and Dipset right-hand--Jim Jones, Cam has kept moving up. You can catch him writing Netflix films in association with Queen Latifah, dropping music, designing capes, and lending his image to everything from sneakers to Stance socks.

XXL digs through Cam'ron's expansive catalog to put together a playlist of 20 of his best records -- these are just the solo joints so no Dipset tracks. You mad?
