Series MVP Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and the Spurs routed the Miami Heat, 104-87, in San Antonio on Sunday night to win the 2014 NBA Finals, four games-to-one. The victory gave the Spurs their fifth NBA title in franchise history and first since 2007.

After Miami sprinted out to a 22-6 first-quarter lead, San Antonio roared back to trail by just seven points at the end of the period. Leonard and Manu Ginobili helped the Spurs to a 25-11 advantage in the second quarter and a seven-point halftime lead.

Reserve guard Patty Mills led San Antonio on an 18-4 run to start the third quarter that all but decided the game. Mills finished with 17 points on the game, while Ginobili tallied 19. Spurs' center Tim Duncan, who has been on all of the Spurs' championship teams, scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

LeBron James led the Heat with 31 points and 10 rebounds.

After losing the 2013 NBA Finals to Miami in seven games, San Antonio dominated the two-time defending champions this post-season. All four of the Spurs victories in the finals were by a margin of 15 points or more.
