You ever had deja vu? That weird feeling in your gut that makes you feel like you’ve already been somewhere before or already experienced an event. In hip-hop, you’ll probably experience that often because there are many instances when rappers pick the same song titles as their predecessors. This is excluding remixes; these songs are original but just share the same name.

Seriously, how many songs have you heard titled “Ballin’,” “Best Friend,” “Champion” or “Angels”? It’s almost ridiculous the amount of times if you think about. There are songs even titled after iconic records in hip-hop history. Even though hip-hop is one of the most creative genres of music, when it comes to song titles, rappers sometimes drop the ball.

Nas and Jay Z both have a song named “Heaven.” Even Pusha T and Meek Mill thought along the same lines with their respective hit records “Amen.” Then there’s Kanye West and Kirko Bangz, who both wanted to “Touch the Sky.” You can chalk this up to being just a coincidence or bad luck.

Whether one track is better or worse than the other is for you to decide, but in the meantime, we’ve collected a list of songs that share the same title for your listening pleasure. From 2Pac to Eminem to OutKast and more, take a look and let us know which songs you know that share the same title in the comments section below.
