Flint residents were supposed to receive their share of $30 Million in water bill credit last week, but the state of Michigan ran into a few delays.

The money was intended to be sent out with water bills last week, to help the Flint residents struggling with the Flint Water Crisis.

ABC12 reports that city officials are saying that they want to make sure that the new bills are straight forward, and easy for customers to understand.  They opted to delay by a week to make sure everything was correct.

The state is putting some of the ownership on the city, saying that bills need to be processed before the money can come.  The state assures that the money is ready to go in a couple of days time.

Everyone is emphasizing how important it is for Flint residents to pay the sewer portion of their bills.  They also say that bills should be coming in the mail, later this week.
