Rappers 50 Cent and Eminem are featured in a documentary called ‘How to Make Money Selling Drugs.’ Say what?! A film on how to get rich off of selling illegal drugs? WTF?

Although the title and the trailer below sounds like a recruiting film for the drug trade, it’s actually an in-depth (and maybe sarcastic) look into the ongoing war on drugs and the battle to enforce tougher drug laws. Directed by Matthew Cooke and produced by Adrian Grenier (of ‘Entourage’ fame), the film interviews celebrities like Russell Simmons, Susan Sarandon, ex-drug kingpin Rick “Freeway” Ross, ‘The Wire’ creator David Simon, Fiddy and Em about the $400 billion illegal drug business.

The movie’s synopsis reads, “10 easy steps show you how to make money from drugs, featuring a series of interviews with drug dealers, prison employees and lobbyists arguing for tougher drug laws.”

The documentary ‘How To Make Money Selling Drugs’ will make its official premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from Sept. 6 to Sept. 16. Also premiering at the movie festival is Snoop Dogg‘s documentary ‘Reincarnated,’ which chronicles his trip to Jamaica and the recording of his reggae album of the same name.

It looks like hip-hop is going to be well represented at the Toronto International Film Festival.
