This past summer, 50 Cent said JAY-Z had gotten a little too bougie with his latest album, 4:44. Several months later, Fif reveals his feelings on the project haven't changed.

Making an appearance on Conan, 50 doubles down on his initial 4:44 take—though he wasn't trying to be disrespectful.

"Hip-hop culture's connected to youth culture," 50 begins. "The kids gon' bring new innovative stuff. He just had the maturity bleed off into the material. So you look at it and go—it's cool for me, like, in my car I'm listening to it. But the kids, I don't see them actually listening to it."

50 continues by saying he feels as if Hov's latest album, which includes commentary on building generational wealth, the perils of infidelity, etc., is an example of the Brooklyn legend talking down to a younger generation. That's when Conan brings up 50's original comment about 4:44 being "golf course music."

"I felt like Carlton Banks when I was listening to it," 50 explains, referencing Will Smith's much-less-hip-hop-inclined cousin on the hit TV series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Elsewhere in his interview with Conan O'Brien, 50 compares Kanye West's confidence to President Trump's, explains his wish to star in a Dirty Dancing sequel and his wish for men to treat their "jewels" the proper way, by buying his $125 underwear.
