The obvious question is, "What is Nomophobia?"  Nomophobia is the fear of being without your cell phone, including losing reception and battery life.

So are you one of the 66% of people who suffer from this phobia?

If you think you may suffer from nomophobia - or 'no mobile phone phobia' - then the warning signs are:

  • An inability to ever turn your phone off
  • Obsessively checking for missed calls, emails and texts
  • Constantly topping up your battery life
  • Being unable to pop to the bathroom without taking your phone in with you.

Researchers found that young adults are the most addicted to their cell phones with 77% unable to stay apart for more than a few minutes. It also found that people on average check their phone 34 times a day and 75 % of us use the phone in the bathroom.
