66% Of People Suffer From ‘Nomophobia’, Are You One Of Them?
The obvious question is, "What is Nomophobia?" Nomophobia is the fear of being without your cell phone, including losing reception and battery life.
So are you one of the 66% of people who suffer from this phobia?
If you think you may suffer from nomophobia - or 'no mobile phone phobia' - then the warning signs are:
- An inability to ever turn your phone off
- Obsessively checking for missed calls, emails and texts
- Constantly topping up your battery life
- Being unable to pop to the bathroom without taking your phone in with you.
Researchers found that young adults are the most addicted to their cell phones with 77% unable to stay apart for more than a few minutes. It also found that people on average check their phone 34 times a day and 75 % of us use the phone in the bathroom.
