Robin Thicke shocked the courtroom as he admitted that he didn't actually write 'Blurred Lines', and then admitted to some severe drug and alcohol abuse.

The Hollywood Reporter has obtained Thicke and Pharrell's shocking depositions in the case. Under oath, Robin admitted that jealousy was the main reason he took credit for writing the hit song.

I was jealous and I wanted some of the credit... I tried to take credit for it later because [Williams] wrote the whole thing pretty much by himself and I was envious of that.

The shocking statements from Robin Thicke didn't stop there though.  He talked about his addiction to Vicodin and alcohol playing a big role during that time as well.

Every day I woke up, I would take a Vicodin to start the day and then I would fill up a water bottle with vodka and drink it before and during my interviews

Thicke even talked about his very public separation from his wife Paula Patton. A prosecutor asked him, "Do you consider yourself an honest person?"  He replied, "No. That's why I'm separated", later adding, "I told my wife the truth. That's why she left me."

This is crazy, and honestly very disappointing! I consider myself a Robin Thicke fan, and while I'm happy he was able to come clean about all of these issues, it's tough to hear.

Do you think this will mark the end of Thicke's career, or will the truth set him free?
