A Father + Two Sons Assault a Club DJ for Not Playing Their Song Request in Pittsburgh

I am on guard now after hearing about a father and his two sons assaulting a club DJ for not playing their song request.  As a radio personality, I get people forever sending me music and asking me to play it on the radio.  I now see I need to pray for protection so I won't get assaulted or shot.  Whew!

I don't know any Club DJs that enjoys request while they're spinning.  The only way you're going to get that request played is if the DJ is already going to play the song, you are attractive, or you drop some money in their hands.  I know that is crazy but it is the reality of it all.

Well, Dion Daye Sr., his 29 year old son Doin Daye Jr., and 25 year old son Dorin Daye didn't get that memo.  While celebrating Dorin Daye Jr. birthday at club Savoy, the family thought it was cool to assault the security guard and club DJ.  The fight ended up ruining the night for everyone else especially the birthday boy who was soon arrested with his family.

The family requested songs by Billy Ocean and 'Safety Dance' which were not played and started the entire bizarre behavior.  Where does this stack up on your list of crazy stories of the week?
