A Worldwide Travel Alert Is Officially Listed For All Americans

The US State Department has issuing a worldwide travel alert to any Americans thinking about leaving the country in the near future.

The purpose of the alert is to make any travelers aware of the potential dangers they face due to increased terror threats around the world.

A travel alert issued on Monday says:

U.S. authorities say the likelihood of terror attacks will continue as members of ISIS return from Syria and Iraq, and others not affiliated with terror groups engage in violence on their own.

U.S. citizens are advised to be vigilant in public places and on transportation and avoid large crowds, including holiday events or festivals.
