Alida Knobloch’s Dog Helps Her Live By Carrying Her Oxygen Tanks [Video]

Alida Knobloch is a 3-year-old girl who must carry an oxygen tank at all times to keep breathing.

Everyone can agree, that's no easy task for a child so young, but it's made possible with the help of her dog, 'Mr. Gibbs.'

Alida suffers from neurohyperplasia which makes it difficult for her to breathe, and she is one of only 500 children diagnosed with the disease in America.

Her parents asked themselves one simple question, "How can we help Alida have a normal sense of independence, and childhood as possible?"

The answer is yellow, fluffy and Alida's best friend.
