Almost 10,000 Genesee County Residents Without Power This Morning

Nearly 10,000 Genesee County residents woke up to a powerless house this morning according to Consumers Energy.

Most of the outages are in the Burton and western Grand Blanc area.  The power went out shortly after 4am Wednesday morning, but there is no specific word on why the power was lost.

The early restoration times according to Consumers Energy are 1pm for most of the customers affected.
