Today is Christmas, a birthday, the last day of school, and free doughnut day all combined for online shoppers. It's Amazon Prime Day!

Amazon Prime Day is basically a 36 hour sale on pretty much everything available to Amazon Prime members. What started as a terribly kept secret has turned into a national holiday for some.

It might sound like I'm over-exaggerating how nuts people go for Prime Day, but I don't think that is possible. I mean, Amazon even has concerts leading up to the event to celebrate.

Not to mention the way that consumers think about Prime Day.

Prime Day hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows for Amazon this year. The high profile shopping day has also given a chance for people to push their boycott of Amazon over low pay and questionable work conditions.

So while some people are preparing to empty their accounts in search of the best deal ever, others are pulling their pocketbooks back.

Are you planning on boycotting Prime Day this year? If so, let us know in the comments below.
