Anderson .Paak has been talking about all the overtime he and Dr. Dre have put into his new album Oxnard, but we weren't ready for his dank collaboration with J. Cole. .Paak and Cole deliver some psychedelic vibes with their new banger "Trippy."

The record, which dropped along with Oxnard earlier today (Nov. 16), kicks off with a comical sample about love from the late Rodney Dangerfield and Johnny Carson before segueing into the sounds of uplifting guitar riffs, lighthearted flutes and harmonizing singers for the Oxnard, Calif. native and the Dreamville founder to spit smooth bars to the ladies.

"Without a space I could feel, in the words to define/Pick it up, if you will, heavy weight on my mind," Anderson raps. "Just a pretty brown thing with yo head in the clouds/Why don't you slip the round thing in the palm of my hands."

Cole, who has been killing every feature he's dropped this year, meets .Paak in the middle and drops some bars about the possibility of reconnecting with a girl from his past.

"Don't know why they rock wit' a nigga, but they did," Cole spits. "Damn sure wasn't the money, maybe it's the kid?/Used to have a honey that I loved when we was young but somehow got disconnected before Facebook got so big/I used to search her name hopin' we could reconnect/But if I sent the message, would she still be on my dick?"

The song is among 14 tracks on the 2016 XXL Freshman's long-awaited Aftermath debut. .Paak's latest body of work also includes collaborations with Q-Tip, BJ The Chicago Kid, Pusha-T, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and more.
