Anderson .Paak has a ton of music in the stash with Dr. Dre, and it seems like it will be seeing the light of day soon. During a Thursday night (Feb. 22) appearance The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 2016 XXL Freshman told the eponymous show host about what he's been cooking up with the legendary producer.

"I mean, I made a lot of music with Dr. Dre—like probably two albums worth. And honestly, it's like the music that I really like now,".Paak explained to Fallon. "Oxnard was a beautiful place. I was doing a lot of rapping and growing up there, we were always running from security guards in the mall and slap-boxing and we wanted to be rappers and do a lot of stuff. We also went to church. I went to church a lot. And the town over—it's a little more quiet, more peaceful. I got into trouble out there too but it gave me a lot more character and soul, and I think I got a lot more soul music to present. It's lots of soul, a bigger tour and the best teeth in the game!"

As a signee to Dre's Aftermath imprint,.Paak has worked closely with Dre since before .Paak's 2016 album, Malibu. Dre even personally mixed .Paak's 2018 album Oxnard himself. The talented pair always make great music together, so whatever they have in the vault is sure to be a treat for fans.
