Andre Drummond posted a Snapchat picture showing him going almost 100 miles per hour, and apologized after the backlash started to hit him.

It's illegal to text and drive in Michigan, and most of the time it's illegal to drive 96mph on I-75 . . . most of the time.

Andre Drummond was doing both things on Sunday, but when the negative press started to roll in, he was quick to apologize.  Drummond told the Free Press, ""It was a silly mistake. I'll own up to it and move on from here. It won't happen again."

I'm not to quick to judge Drummond for going that fast though, because anyone that has driven on I-75 in Michigan knows that nobody goes 70mph.  Seriously, it's just a true fact that 80 is basically the assumed speed limit.  That's why it was so humorous that legislation is being pushed to move the speed limit to 80mph.  As if everyone isn't already doing 90 anyway?
