If you’re a fan of The Lonely Island, then you’re probably pretty stoked for Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which features a whole soundtrack full of new songs from the musical comedy trio. Leading up to the film’s release next week, we’ve already seen a few music videos featuring Andy Samberg’s fictional alter ego Conner4Real — including an amazing Bin Laden-themed video that debuted on SNL. Universal has released yet another obviously NSFW music video from Popstar, this time with a little freestyle action.

Samberg’s Conner4Real raps about being a weirdo in the new video for the appropriately-titled “I’m a Weirdo Freestyle.” In it, he proudly proclaims his weirdness, using a banana as a telephone and pronouncing “ergot” as “ear-go.” You know, just some things that weird people like to do or whatever.

Popstar hasn’t been tracking very well, and it’s looking like it won’t make a ton of bank at the box office, but that seems about right — The Lonely Island is an acquired comedic taste on the same level as MacGruber, which developed a cult following on home video after a disappointing theatrical run. But if you’re one of those weirdos who love The Lonely Island’s antics, then it’s safe to assume that Popstar is definitely for you.

Samberg’s Lonely Island cohorts Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone directed the film, which co-stars Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows, Sarah Silverman and Bill Hader, and hits theaters on June 3.
