I'm sick and tired of people making fun of me because I wear a flannel. It's time to take a stand. #FlannelsForEveryone.

I've worn a flannel basically since birth. I remember growing up my flannel was my best friend. When no one was there for me, my flannel was by my side. I could put it on at anytime and instantly feel like a man. Growing up watching Home Improvement, Al Borland (one of the greatest actors of all time) was my childhood idol. I'd watch him work with Mr. Michigan (that is my nickname for Tim Allen, the most Pure Michigan man to ever exist) and I dreamed of being a tool man. I ended up getting into radio because I hate physical labor, but you get the point. MAN STUFF!

I broke out my favorite flannel today because it was 55 degrees when I woke up and I get cold easily. Walking into work today I heard comments like "Go back to Northern Michigan you hillbilly" and "Nice flannel. You going to chop down some trees with Paul Bunyan?". I decided it's time to take a stand against flannel haters. #FlannelsForEveryone
