Every year around this time, a new generation of graduating Seniors realize that the world of school is ending as they know it.  The real world, higher education or some other calling is waiting for them, and the fact is that none of them are sure what to expect.

David Foster Wallace gave a commencement speech in 2005 that flew under the radar until 2008 when Wallace died.  His words were turned into a book called 'This Is Water' and now his speech is one of the most iconic graduation speeches around.

It's been described as the most simple and elegant explanation of the real value of education.  It is a must watch for anyone wondering what the point of the last few years really was.
