It took almost an entire year but the NFL play of the year has officially just happened.

Jerome Simpson caught the ball on the 17-yard line and sprinted for the end-zone.

Instead of bowling his way in for the score, he dropped the jaws of all NFL fans.

Jumping over the Cardinals Daryl Washington was only the fourth touchdown of the year for Simpson, but it was on of the best of the season.
