A true Destiny’s Child reunion will likely never take place — the group’s individual members seem content in leaving their musical legacy untouched, at least for the foreseeable future. But Beyonce, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland do seem to truly cherish their friendships with each other, and for this we are grateful.

Kelly celebrated her 35th birthday at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday (February 20), and judging by the photos Rowland posted on Instagram, both Beyonce and Michelle were in attendance, making for a spontaneous Destiny's Child reunion, if only because they were all in the same room together.

Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles and sister Solange also stopped by Kelly's party, according to Tina's Instagram:

Destiny’s Child last reunited in March 2015 for the Stellar Gospel Music Awards, where they performed Michelle’s single “Say Yes” together. Before that, the three got together for an all-too-brief performance during Beyonce's 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.

Despite rumblings that the performance may have signaled the start of a true reunion (complete with a brand new album and possible tour), it sadly never came about -- and probably never will.

“It hasn’t been something that we’ve talked about at all,” said Kelly in an October 2015 interview with US Weekly. “We’ve just been enjoying each other, whether it’s been about our music, whether it’s been about motherhood or our personal lives. That’s what it’s really been about. That’s been the most beautiful part."
