This Presidents Day (Feb. 17) brings another installment in Big Boi's Mash-Up Mondays series. This time the Atlanta rapper uses a newer instrumental as opposed to the '70s  Big Oyster Cult backdrop in 'GossipZilla.' Big Boi adapts the Menahan Street Band's 'The World' for 'Damaged World.'

The mash-up uses Daddy Fat Sack's verses from 'Tremendous Damage,' a song in which the OutKast member references the passing of his father before the making of his 2010 debut LP, 'Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son of Chico Dusty.'

The verses are unchanged but the tone is pretty different thanks the new instrumental. The original version feels more mournful because of the somber key progression.

While that's more representative of a recent passing, the mashed up version feels more like a celebration of life with those funky horns backing it.

Perhaps not coincidentally, fellow OutKast member Andre 3000 also lost his father a few days ago.

This series doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon, but will it be enough to hold fans over until OutKast's eventual reunion concert?
