Brandon Carr has gone from patrolling the field at Carman-Ainsworth to the NFL, and this weekend he was giving back in Flint.

His youth football camp was open for kids from 7 to 17.  The kids hit the field with Carr, while they ran through drills.  Brandon told WJRT,

We hope that they can take something home with them. You know both on and off the field. We talk to them every chance that we can get. You have a lot of coaches out here that have a lot of life experience to share with them. And it kind of motivates them and help them get into the right direction

The focus wasn't solely on football though, as there was a cheer camp for girls too.

Brandon has always remained active in the community since his CA playing days, and the majority of the help comes from his "Carr Cares Foundation."

Thank you Brandon, for being such a positive role model in our city when we need it the most.
