Brides Are Updating Their Facebook Status Before The Reception

The time between the wedding ceremony and the reception is traditionally time to get pictures, but Facebook conscious brides might be changing the routine.

A new survey shows that 49% of brides admit that they are changing their Facebook relationship status between the ceremony and the reception of their wedding.

Brides and grooms are pulling out their phones during the cocktail hour or at the end of night in their honeymoon suite to change their relationship status from "single" to "married" on Facebook.

Some women are even incorporating updating the status into the ceremony itself!

About one-third change their marital status on the wedding night, another third have done it by the next morning.
