One might not expect Bruce Springsteen to be a fan of Kanye West, but during a recent interview with Variety, the New Jersey legend offered high praise for Yeezy and his Life of Pablo album.

Going through his iTunes library and discussing some of his favorite contemporary songwriters, The Boss landed on Kanye and gave his thoughts on the rapper's most recent project. "I though that was an amazing creation, especially the arrangements," he said of the of the 2016 album.

It's not Springsteen's first time showing love to Yeezy. During a 2014 interview with NPR, The E Street Band leader called the Chicago rapper "incredible" and praised his production.

"I listen to Kanye West. Kanye West is incredible, you know," he said. "I mean some of these, there's like, just the production. And I saw him on television, he did the song called 'Blood on the Leaves' on the Later...With Jools Holland — it was fantastic, you know. He's a very... I still find him very interesting."

While Kanye has kept a low profile as of late, The Life of Pablo was able to set a milestone recently. On Wednesday (Oct. 4), it was reported the LP had become the first album in the United Kingdom to go gold through streaming alone. In the U.K., gold certification is granted when an album moves more than 100,000 units, while platinum is granted at 300,000.
