The idiot of the day goes to the burglary suspect that was tackled by the homeowner and then allegedly admits, "I pooped my pants." Criminals do some dumb stuff all the time and television shows have documented most of them. I don't think the cameras were rolling on this one.
A Vancouver homeowner came home with is girlfriend to find a strange man standing in his living room holding his son's laptop and bag. Quickly the suspect ran out the front door only to be tackled by the homeowner, Jason Guerra.
Guerra told the local news station about the encounter.
"He said everything he could think of," Guerra told Fox 12. "He said he was in a bad spot. He didn't mean to. That he was sorry. And one of the last things he said was, 'come on man, I pooped my pants."
The suspect, Nathan Severin, 35 years old, was arrested and charged with first degree burglary and third degree assault.
