Rumors of a Cardi B and Beyoncé collaboration have been swirling recently, but it unfortunately looks like there's no truth to it. An engineer previously posted a photo of a music file with her and Queen Bey's names at the top, implying that the two were collaborating on a track, but the rumors are just rumors.

While doing an interview on the red carpet of Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia following her on-stage engagement to her boyfriend Offset, Cardi spills the truth about the alleged collaboration in question with the Lemonade superstar.

"I don't even know where did that rumor... people are crazy," she confesses. "People start rumors and do things."

The host then says that she was rooting for Cardi to land a major collaboration with Bey, being that they already met back at Made In America in September. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper shares her own excitement for the idea of a collab, and even tries to speak it into existence.

"I mean I would be happy too!" she exclaims. "I wish that [could] happen. I wish. I'll put that into existence."

Also in the interview, Cardi breaks down her reaction to Offset's proposal, and how everything happened leading up to it for her. She also talks about potential wedding plans, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and much more.
