The Care For Flint campaign is helping residents deal with the aftermath of the Flint Water Crisis along with many other issues facing Flint today.

Care For Flint is a collection of local agencies that are coming together to provide complete coverage for Flint residents.  The help includes financial help, health coverage assistance, and mental health services.

To help raise awareness for the initiative, there are tons of activities going on this weekend.

Thursday

  • Senior Resource Fair @ Flint Farmers Market. 9am-12pm
  • Financial Basics For Young Professionals @ MLive.  5pm-7pm
  • Cooking With Kids @ Flint Children's Museum. 5:30pm-7pm
  • Sunset Village Block Pary @ Sunset Village. 6pm-8pm

Friday

  • ADA Day @ Powers High School. 11am-2pm
  • Movies Under The Stars "Inside Out" @ Flint City Hall. 7:30pm-11pm

Saturday

  • Fresh Flint Festival @ Dort Federal Event Center. 1pm-5pm
  • Neighborhood Water Expo @ Joy Tabernacle Church. 11am-3pm
  • First Church of the Brethren Block Party 12p-4p
