The Regional Playoff games kickoff this weekend in Mid-Michigan and there are still quite a few area teams alive.

Charles Rogers was a football superstar at all levels of the game in Michigan, and he has passed away at the young age of 38.

The first round of the High School Football Playoffs is in the book, and now area teams are focused on winning their district final game.

It will be a 12 noon kickoff from Michigan Stadium on November 16th. This will be the first noon kickoff for Michigan State this season. The Wolverines have played six games at noon this season, and their annual game with Ohio State on November 30th has already been announced as a noon kickoff.

High School Playoffs start tonight in Genesee County and surrounding areas. Check out the match-ups here.
