Claressa Shields To Help With Flint City Wide Water Giveaway Today

Flint residents will be able to get some free water and meet hometown hero, Claressa Shields today at a city wide water giveaway.

Mayor Karen Weaver and T-Rex will be hosting the water giveaway later this afternoon for Flint residents. The city plans on giving out more than 67,000 bottles of water at the event, but there are a few things you should know before you show up.

The water giveaway is in the back parking lot of City Hall 1101 S. Saginaw St.

The event starts at 6pm, but cars WILL NOT be allowed to line up before 5:30pm.

Flint residents will get 4 cases of water per family during the event.
