Kanye West filed papers to cease and desist the release of 'Coinye' virtual currency last week, in spite of the filing 'Coinye' may still launch this evening at 10P if the cyberworld allows.

'Coinye' started as an internet chatroom joke, but just like every other internet gag it was shared into an all out event. Now that Kanye has shown his dismay, the frenzy has grown. Yesterday Wall Street Journal reported that Kanye was 100% against the cryptocurrency (digital medium of exchange) and is trademark infringing with the use of Kanye's face resemblance.

The bitcoin inspired by the superstar Kanye West could possibly hit the cyberworld if their is a virtual buzz and value is shown. According to WSJ in an interview with one of the 'Coinye' hacks, the purpose is

We want to release this to the public before the man can try to crush it,” one of the coders said in a Skype text interview Monday night. “They’ll still come after us, but that’s OK.”
