This newest addition to the franchise pretty much starts where  last one stops.

The genetically enhanced apes are just as intelligent and just as strong as the humans if not stronger and smarter.After a short lived peace treaty between the two races things quickly go astray because they realize there can only be one dominant species on planet Earth.

Ever since the virus was let loose and has started to spread the apes have been in control, but the humans have begun an up-rise that can potentially lead to a devastating war.
