The deal was announced late Monday afternoon that The Tigers would send Doug Fister to The Nationals for 3 players.  The reaction among Tiger fans has been very mixed due to the face that most people don't know any of the three players coming to The D.

The Tigers will get two left handed pitching prospects Ian Krol and Robbie Ray along with utility player, Steve Lambardozzi.

The deal is mainly about money, and the Tigers ability to keep it's core lineup together as they make another run at the World Series.

The problem is that this trade is coming off the heels of Detroit trading Prince Fielder, and according to Justin Verlander's Twitter, the dealing might not be done.

Do you think the trade is going to help the Tigers get to the World Series?
