Detroit Tigers Miguel Cabrera Wins Second Straight AL MVP + Talks About What It Means [Video]

Miguel Cabrera said that this was special as he referred to winning the 2013 AL MVP.  Miggy is the first player in almost a decade to win the award in consecutive years.

Cabrera received 23 of the 30 first place votes, which is one more than he received last year when he also won the Triple Crown!

Miggy said that the injuries that he dealt with this year made the road more difficult, but the award means even more.  He talked to MLB Network with his daughter on his lap.

As a lifelong Tiger fan, I can't thank this team enough for the amazing seasons we have been able to watch over the last few years.  The World Series has somehow gotten away over the last three years, but the integrity and love that these guys play the game with is such a great example for every fan.
