The Detroit Tigers are officially in the 2014 playoffs after beating the White Sox yesterday, but now they have their eyes on a division title.

The worst the Tigers can end up with now is a wild card. Detroit is trying for its fourth straight American League Central crown, and the Tigers took a two-game lead over second-place Kansas City, which lost at Cleveland.

Detroit's magic number to clinch the division is three.

In the meantime you can celebrate the postseason birth with some Tigers playoff gear.

There was some excitement in yesterdays game against the White Sox as the benches cleared.  V-Mart was hit by a pitch after being accused of having someone in the crowd with binoculars stealing the pitchers signs . . . which is ridiculous.

During the game Ian Kinsler got a base hit, and took a little jab by pretending to have a pair on base.  He talked about that in his post game interview.
