DJ Khaled is New York's most iconic cab driver in a new video spot from Lyft, picking up unsuspecting city dwellers, asking them Khaled-specific questions as he drives them around. Some recognize the Miami hit maker immediately, while others don't realize even as he asks them their opinion of him.

Khaled poses as a locksmith who has the keys to everything, introducing himself as Billy, a reference to the outro on his song "Ima Be Alright" with Bryson Tiller and Future in which he says, "We gonna become billionaires. From now on when you see me, call me 'Billi'" As posted on his Snapcha, Khaled on occasion does take cabs around New York, sometimes asking the driver if the ride is for free before reminding everybody that nothing is for free.

One rider even references Khaled's Snap dominance, saying, "There are days where I really don't know what I’m doing and all I got to do is turn on Snapchat and be like 'Alright whats DJ Khaled doing today? How's he going to inspire me today?'" Driving a white Chevy Tahoe, Khaled alludes to his own song with Jay Z and Future "I Got the Keys," and uses red lights as a place holder for "they" noting, "they want to slow us down."

Check the video up top, where one passenger even says that she thought she recognized Khaled as cousin's boyfriend. But instead, it's the star of commercials for Champs, who just earned his first No. 1 album last month.
