The list of inductees for the 2018 Grammy Hall of Fame are being unveiled, and it includes some hip-hop icons amongst the prestigious roster. Both Dr. Dre and Public Enemy are included in this year's inductees, which incorporates the super producer's The Chronic album, and the rap group's innovative "Fight the Power" single.

Dre's 1992 studio LP off of Death Row, and Public Enemy's 1989 single, which was released through Motown, are joining a slew of other major names and recordings in music history, including Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," Aerosmith's "Dream On," Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys album, Four Tops' "I Can't Help Myself" and many more.

The Recording Academy chooses 25 titles for its inductees list, which can be full albums or singles that are at least 25 years old. The Hall of Fame currently holds 1,063 recordings from previous years, and is on display at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Apple Music has also released an official Grammy Hall of Fame playlist to honor the inductees of this year, which you can listen to on the streaming service.
