Before Super Bowl XLVIII hits the New York and New Jersey area on Feb. 2, expect plenty of parties and festivities beforehand. Chart-topping artists Drake, J. Cole, TLC and many others will headline major concerts in NYC before the big game.

VH1 is hosting a week-long series of shows for its 'Super Bowl Blitz: Six Nights + Six Concerts’ telecast, which kicks off Jan. 27 and runs through Feb. 1 at 11PM ET.

Hollywood Cole will perform on Jan. 27 at Queens College, followed by Janelle Monae's show on Jan. 28 at the Bronx’s Lehman College.

On Jan. 30, TLC will hit the stage at New York’s Beacon Theatre. On the same night, the Roots will be performing with the likes of Busta Rhymes and Run-DMC at EA Sports’ 'History of Hip-Hop' concert at the Bud Light Hotel.

On Feb. 1, Drizzy will rock the mic at a private show for Revolt TV with Diddy hosting the festivities.

Of course, the big extravaganza will happen during the Super Bowl matchup as singer-songwriter Bruno Mars will touch down at the official Halftime Show on Feb. 2.

The Big Apple and the Garden State are going to be rocking with good music and fun times as the 2014 football season comes to a close.
