Legendary singers K-Ci & JoJo have love for Drake. The R&B duo are expressing their appreciation for the Toronto MC's choice to create the 'Jodeci (Freestyle)' this year.

"Yo, Drake. We love you man," K-Ci tells The Boombox. "We appreciate that, man. You just don't know how much that make us feel. We love you for recognizing us."

The pair, who were members of famed group Jodeci, attribute the name-check to introducing them to a new, younger audience. "Oh, that's them!" JoJo says, musing how kids began to research Jodeci after hearing the song.

"I’m good in every town, I’ma be there doing shows where you at / The lights hit women screaming like Jodeci’s back," Drake raps on the song. The rapper released the track with J. Cole earlier this year.

In the early to mid '90s, Jodeci wooed the ladies with their smooth sounds. Cuts like 'Come and Talk to Me' and 'Freek'n You' showcased the quartet's talent for both sultry and raunchy R&B. On hiatus, the group's last major release was 2008's compilation 'Playlist Your Way.' K-Ci & JoJo released their fifth studio LP, 'My Brother's Keeper,' in September.
