Drake was the big winner at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 20) nabbing three honors including Favorite Album Rap/Hip-Hop for Views.

During Drizzy’s acceptance speech for Favorite Artist Award, where he beat out fellow rappers Fetty Wap and Future, he may have sent a couple of shots at Kanye West and his rap rival, Meek Mill.

"I want to give a big shoutout to my brother Future, and Fetty, of course, for making incredible music," he said. "I want to thank Kyla, who’s here all the way from the UK. Without her, I never would have made the song 'One Dance,' so shout out to her."

"For our genre, I like to keep things exciting and keep making music. Shout out to everybody that’s trying to do the same thing," he added. "More Life is coming soon and more chune for your head top so watch how you speak on my name, you know?"

Complex notes that the 6 God may have been aiming that last line in his speech at Kanye West who has been ranting and raving on his "Saint Pablo Tour" about everyone in the music industry including Beyonce and Jay Z.At his show in Sacramento, Calif., West reportedly discussed Drake and DJ Khaled's song "For Free."

"Khaled and Drake and radio and Doc and [Real] 92.3 and everybody. Is it just me or did you hear that song so many times 'you say you wanna play for free.' Aye, aye," he said. "You know what it is, though? Because aye, I love Drake. I love Khaled. But they set that song up, bro."

But Drake could also be sending a subliminal to Mill who he has a long-standing beef with. Either way, the 30-year-old rapper-singer is still on a major winning streak in 2016. Pettiness not withstanding.
