Drake is hosting and serving as the musical guest of 'SNL' this weekend (Jan. 18), a popular trend this season, with Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga recently pulling double duty. But given Drake's acting background and his natural abilities, Mr. Last Name, Ever, First Name, Greatest has this gig on lockdown.

The promos are hilarious and take place in a studio in front of a mixing board.

First, cast member Bobby Moynihan gives him cat beats. Then, the always brilliant Jay Pharaoh is so blown away and starstruck that he can't speak, but he does sniff the rapper. Creeptacular!

The rapper, who acted on 'DeGrassi: The Next Generation,' poked fun at his past on the teens sudser. He showed off his melodramatic acting chops and brought Moynihan to tears. We think Drake should be nominated for some Oscars, yo.

The best moment? When Moynihan rises from the floor and quotes Drake, saying, "Hey Drake, did you see that? I started at the bottom but now I'm here." We nearly peed our pants at that part.

Both Moynihan and Pharaoh ask him about making beats on separate occasions and while together, which escalates into an argument that has Drake walk off set.

Judging from these promos, we're in for a hilarious ep on Saturday night. Bring it, Drizzy.
