Duncan Hines has recalled over 2.4 million boxes of cake mix. The reason for the recall is there has been a link to salmonella. Most of the 2.4 million boxes were sold in the US.

The affected cake mixes include Classic White, Classic Butter Golden, Signature Confetti, and Classic Yellow cake mixes. All the affected boxes have an expiration date of March 7-13 2019.

Conagra Brands, the parent company of Duncan Hines announced the recall after a sample of the cake mix was tested by the FDA and contained salmonella.

You can see the full list of the recalled items here.

If you have one of the recalled items, the FDA advises that you do not consume the cake mix. You can return it to the store for a refund, or throw it away.
