Ellen announced one of her biggest donations ever with the help of Justin Bieber, and the money is much needed at the Detroit school.

Spain Elementary Middle School in Detroit has been one of the hardest hit by the shortcomings of the Detroit Public Schools.  Their building is becoming unsafe due to mold, leaks, and rodents.  These things make it almost impossible to teach and learn.

Ellen DeGeneres is giving more than $500,000 in donations, including a $50,000 in technology, $200,000 for a new roof, $250,000 cash for the school and $100 gift cards for each teacher and staff member.

Ellen also started a GoFundMe page for the school with a $5 million goal, and GoFundMe itself kicked in $15,000 to help start things off.

Justin Bieber popped out of a wooden table during the show and  announced that $1 from every ticket sold to his concert on April 25th in Michigan would go to the school.
