Eminem Admits He’s Losing His Memory From Pill Popping Days

Eminem has never been the kind of guy to keep things bottled up inside him.  So I guess we shouldn't be surprised he is opening up about the side effects of his drug use.

In an interview with Rolling Stone he talked about when he first started to discover that he was losing his memory.

What's even more scary is what Eminem thinks is causing the memory loss.

He told Rolling Stone:

"A lot of my memory is gone. I don't know if you've ever taken Ambien, but it's kind of a memory-eraser. That s--- wiped out five years of my life. People will tell me stories, and it's like, 'I did that?' I saw myself doing this thing on BET recently, and I was like, 'When was that?'"

The good news around all of this is that Eminem seems to have kicked the habit after five years of heavy drug use.

He came back harder than anyone could have ever predicted and has landed on the cover of GQ as one of the 2011 'Gods Of Rock', along with Lil Wayne.
