Many people have revered Eminem for his lyrics and wordplay, and now it looks like his music and persona will be put under the critical microscope in a new book.

In 'Eminem and Rap, Poetry, Race: Essays,' the book's writers will "consider Eminem's place in hip-hop, the intellectual underpinnings of his work, and the roles of race, gender and privilege in his career, among various other topics. This original treatment will be appreciated by Eminem fans and cultural scholars alike," according to the book's description on Amazon.

Scott F. Parker, who's written 'Conversations with Ken Kesey' and 'Revisted: Notes on Bob Dylan,' curates the piece, while Talib Kweli provides the foreword.

You can pre-order your copy of 'Eminem and Rap, Poetry, Race: Essays' for $35 on Amazon here.

The 277-page book will arrive Nov. 30.
