‘Empower Flint’ App Makes Getting Flint Water Info Easier

Researchers at Michigan State University have developed a new mobile app called, 'Empower Flint' to help people access water info easier.

The mobile app was created to put valuable information at the fingertips of those affected by the Flint Water Crisis.  Empower Flint shows users the closest locations of water distribution, filter giveaways, and sources of nutritious food.

More information about developing stories and notifications that residents should know about concerning the Flint Water Crisis.  There is also a checklist feature, that helps users keep track of important steps toward keeping their family and pets safe.

The app is free to download, and is available on iTunes and Google Play.
