It's been seven years since Disney's 'Enchanted' charmed its way into our hearts, and now the film is finally getting a happily ever after with a sequel. 'Enchanted 2' is moving ahead with writers and a director and everything. But will Amy Adams return to reprise her role as Giselle? We can't picture a sequel without her!

Deadline reports that 'Enchanted 2' has just signed on 'Shrek 2' and 'The Smurfs' writers J. David Stem and David N. Weiss for scripting duties on the upcoming sequel, which will be directed by Anne Fletcher. Fletcher previously helmed 'The Guilt Trip' starring Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand, and 'The Proposal,' starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.

The first 'Enchanted' film starred Amy Adams as Giselle, a Disney princess who is cast out of her twee, animated homeland and into our real world by an evil queen. When she meets a handsome lawyer in New York City, Giselle's views on life and love are changed in the incredibly charming and insightful live-action flick, which cleverly examines the traditional ideas of the classic Disney princess archetype.

The film also starred Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Patrick Demspey, and Idina Menzel. It's unclear yet which -- if any -- of the original cast members will return for the sequel.
